I am now one of the converted! I did not try brussel sprouts until I was an adult. (Thanks mom! Love ya! But once I tried them as an adult, I HATED them! This is the only food on the planet I don't like. My family and I tried this recipe tonight, and all but my veggie hating 9 year old daughter LOVED them. Now when people talk about brussel sprouts, I have to say, "I like 'em the way Rachael Ray makes 'em."

This was the hit of the night! I made them early in the afternoon and let them sit until dinner time - the longer they sat- the more they tasted pickled. They were fantastic. I initially thought 2 tablespoons of celery salt would be too much but the flavor was fantastic. I had the rest of breakfast this morning - COLD - and they were great that way too. Thanks for a great Christmas Eve meal!!!!

There are no instructions for the chopped onion and peppers. What gives? Also, 2 tablespoons is too much celery salt. Maybe 2 teaspoons?

Didn't have the "pickle" effect I was led to believe it would have. It was a rather strange taste combination. Would not make it again.

I really like the flavors of this recipe, but I would cut back a little on the salt. I LOVE salty foods, but even I found this a tad too salty. Other than that, they are yummy.

My sister made Rachel's entire Holiday Feast meal for Christmas dinner and it was a big hit. There are a lot of fussy eaters and special diets to accomidate and each one could be adjusted without loosing flavor. What a treat!!! You go Rachel!!!

This was not a good tasting dish at all. I used half the required celery salt and it was still VERY salty. Otherwise, I used all the required ingredients, right down to the mustard seeds and turmeric, in the amounts stated. It did not deliver. It was simply not 'spicy', and the turmeric and celery salt made it taste bitter and strange.

We enjoyed this dish. I used garlic powder instead of the garlic salt. I sprinkled a little bit of paprika to add Christmas color. I will definately make this again. Thanks.
