I was looking for a chicken sausage recipe to make meatballs for Italian Wedding Soup that called for a combination of ground chicken and chicken sausage. I used this recipe along with the other ingredients and it was fantastic. The soup recipe was from Barefoot Contessa so I combined the two recipes to make what is now one of my favorite soups!

These patties were more like burgers to me, and I served them with a side veggie. We just loved them. I also tried them with ground turkey, and they were just as good!

I found these 'chicken burgers' a little too intense in flavor esp. with the fennel seeds. I also found that if i didn't make the patties about 2.5" in diameter and 0.5" thick they did not cook up fast and cook all the way through the center. Honestly, I was hoping the flavor would be more savory than having a kick.
I ended up using curly parsely in them and I'm not sure if the type of parsely alters the flavor. One thing that bugged me was the hot oil splashing up out of the pan at me... any suggestions for solving that problem?

This is a very good and yummy alternative to beef patties. I covered it with a tomato sauce from another 230 minute meal. It was great!

Thes ewere excellent! My daughter ( who is 5 and I made these together. It was simple enough that that the kids could help, but the taste was incredible. Some of the other reviews said they were a little bland, but trying to be health concious, I didn't find that at all.

Trying to eat healthier and this chicken recipe doesn't sacrifice flavor or texture. Can be used alone or made into mini meatballs and used in soup or tomato sauce (gravy.
