Wow, it went so fast I bearly had time to try it! I'm not a swiss cheese fan, but I made the recipe exactly as is written and it was FANTASTIC! The flavors belnd so well together. Paired it with veggies and crackers, I can't decide which I liked more.

Excellent dip for entertaining or just a tasty snack for a movie. I used smaller oven proof dishes so that it was always heated well.

Wow! I made this because I knew my boyfriend would love it. I wasn't sure that I would like it and guess what? This dip is amazing! A must try!

I have made this recipe many times and its always a favorite! Not once have I found it greasy. It goes very well with foccacia or toasted cibatta bread. I also agree with others about using Real Bacon Bits to cut down on time.

Always a HUGE hit at any event! I have never brought this dip any place where at least five people don't stop me to ask for the recipe. Only modification I make is using horseradish dijon mustard. Easy to make and the flavors come together beautifully once baked. Definitely a winner!

AWESOME!!!! I brought it for Thanksgiving cocktail hour and changed it up a bit since it was being served before a big meal. I used 1/2 regular and 1/2 light cream cheese and light mayonnaise, added a 1/2 cup shredded Gouda to give it a buttery cheese finish to compliment beer and wine being served. I also substituted chopped shallots for the scallions as previously recommended. I divided into two bowls and served it with Tostido Scoops near the guys watching the game and bagel chips near the ladies in another room. Everyone raved about it.

I made the dish for a neighborhood cocktail party. It was a big hit and voted a keeper! The only change I made was to substitute finely chopped shallots for the green onions and added just enough of the green onion tops for color. I also omitted the almonds since I'm very conscious of nut allergies when I'm serving people I'm not very familiar with. I sprinkled the top with parmesean cheese and a little paprika for a nice brown topping.

Followed the directions to the tee and it turned out really well. None of the grease that some others mentioned. It was gobbled up quickly by a group of 10-12 adults. I recommend doubling it for bigger parties.

I hate swiss, but I LOVE this dip. I suggest using swiss even if it is not your preferred cheese. I also omit almonds on top, and it's great either way.
