These burgers were phenomenal. They were juicy and delicious. Next time I will only add the adobe sauce and leave out the actual chipotle pepper because they don't get evenly distributed in the meat so some bites have a hot suprize. Also, I found that grating the onion turned it into mush and I wasn't too sure how much actually made it off the grater into the meat, so next time I will finely dice the onions. Definitely going into my recipe box!

These little "sliders" as they are affectionately known in my home are absolutely delicious! I wouldn't (and didn't change a thing even the second time I made them, which was tonight! The warm fire roasted ketchup is absolutely fabulous (I used balsamic vinegar. The chopped raw onions add that extra little flavor too! Served with a "cool" cole slaw and chick pea salad. Easy, fast and fantastic!

Rachael I change the chipotle and put it in the ketchup creation instead just in case someone didn't like too much heat. I also was able to make the burgers in advance for the big superbowl game and grill them off just before the game started. I also added bacon, only because I had it premade. Great item to add to make next entertainment night, got great reviews. Keep them coming.

The fire-roasted sauce turns it into something special. I made it with turkey (half ground and half italian sausage. EXCELLENT!

Good, juicy burgers. The pepper doesn't get evenly distributed in the meat and was too spicy for my most of my family. Next time I'll just mix in the adobo sauce (yum and omit the peppers. I started adding in some onion after seeing her do it with other recipes and it really does seem to keep them moist. I'm not a huge onion fan so I've cut it down to about 1/4 onion and it works fine. The ketchup had mixed reviews. My husband LOVES it, kids hate it, I like it but the vinegar was a bit too strong (I used cider vinegar and it came out too runny to really be considered a ketchup. Will cut back on the vinegar and sugar and see how that works the next time. All and all, good taste and I'll make it again with a few changes. May even make incorporate this recipe into a meatloaf.

The burgers turned out a little too spicy for our personal tastes but that would easily be solved by cutting back on the chipotles and adobo... I may make them again to see if they are a bigger hit if I keep them a little more on the "mild" side...
