Someone at work printed out this recipe, and it looked so unique that I copied it and brought it home to try myself. I made it exactly according to the recipe, except that I made my own whole wheat pizza dough from my breadmaker. When it was assembled, it looked like it came from a photo shoot. Beautiful! With each bite, the first thing I taste is the sweetness of the duck sauce, then each of the other flavors makes its own statement. I love the complexity of flavors and textures, and the whole dish really does come together so well. I plan to make it to take to my next pot luck dinner.

I followed the recipe exactly and it was so delicious! It is definitely messy to eat, but each topping added a unique flavor and texture and I would not omit a single one! We rated it higher than any takeout we have ever eaten... loved it so much that it motivated my first ever recipe review. Enjoy!

I was searching the 'net for a Thai pizza recipe. This is a good basis to start off of, but for me to use everything would be like a stir fry wok dumped on a pizza shell. I omitted the peanuts(you get the peanut flavor from the peanut butter chicken coating and omitted the sprouts. I happened to have both duck sauce and plum sauce, I mixed 1/8 C each plus 1/8 C of BBQ sauce. Most Thai pizzas I've ordered had way too much gloopy sauce so I receommend spreading it thinly and sparingly. I also put a couple strips of jack and provolone cheese before baking on just because I need cheese on every pizza I eat. BTW-I have used Alton Brown's pizza dough recipe for years and highly recommend it for you 'entirely from scratch' fanatics like me. Be sure to make it 2-3 days ahead and keep in the refridgerator to rise.
This variation of Rachel's version came out great.

i subbed sliced portabello mushrooms for the chicken. To contribute to the sweetness of the dish, i used a whole wheat pizza crust. loved it! definitely a keeper!

The peanut butter marinade for the chicken was amazing. I went a little light on the hot sauce (which was a good call. Next time I'm going to lighten up on the honey/vinegar drizzling because it makes the crust soggy. A very amazing dish.

Made this today for dinner after skimming over most of the reviews. I was skeptical about sweet plum sauce and the peanut butter. Being accident prone, I even spilled the honey/vinegar mixture all over myself and the floor. After everything was done, I tried a slice. It's really very good! Will definitely make again for a new spin on pizza. The only things I did differently was to prebake the crust with the pepper flakes and some garlic powder for 8 minutes and then I added the plum sauce and all the other ingredients and covered with cheese. I reserved some bell pepper strips for some color on top of the white melty cheese. Yum-O
