I made these for dinner tonight i followed the recipe except i added thinly sliced red bell pepper to the salad, added a few leftover shrimp and used a store bought peanut sauce it was amazing even my super picky husband loved it and asked me to be sure to make it again. It's a real winning combination of flavors.

I made these a couple of years ago and my husband and I loved them. I had not made them since...trying every other recipe, I guess. I did a search for this recipe b/c I have been thinking of them for months and decided that I simply must have one of these delicious wraps!

I am going to shop for the ingredients I need and will be 'wrapping' tomorrow!!

Pretty good all around. I was not pleased with the peanut sauce...looks like I'm not alone. It was so bland. Not at all spicy. I will definitely make this again but will look elsewhere for peanut sauce or buy it!

The only part of this recipe that I even remotely liked was the chicken. The sauce is horrible. It is thick and too salty and the flavor combo just doesn't work.
The salad dressing wasn't bad but the combo of veggies just didn't work either.
I love Rachael's recipes and I was pretty surprised how horrible this recipe is.
My husband and I just had it and we couldn't even force it down. The few bites we did eat are now making our tummys upset.
I don't recommend this at all.
    Sorry Rachael....nothing personal.

So many good ingredients that should make this so yummy, but alas, it's not. I should have read the reviews and skipped the peanut sauce. It might have been better if I'd left it off. Mine was also thick and just too salty (even with low soy sauce. I usually love Rachael's recipes, so I was stunned that this one which is fairly high reviewed came out so bad. It's always possible that I messed it up, but I usually try to follow the recipe to the T when first making a dish. Sorry Rachael. :(

I ended up changing some things because i didnt have alot of the ingredients but its a great base recipe that can be changed to suit tastes/seasons. The sauce i had to add some honey and extra ingredients to because it didnt suit my tastes at all. I put in some thinly sliced zucchini instead of cucumber because i was out. In the end my husband asked me to make it again which he rarely does so I would reccomend trying it out.

This recipe is a true winner. I usually change a few ingredients in recipes but there is no adding or deleting with this. I am pregnant and very rarely can keep eating the same meal after eating it. I've had this recipe many times. Everyone I share this with absolutely LOVES it.

The wrap itself was very delicious but I have to agree with many of the reviewers - the sauce is awful! It came out really salty even though I didnt add as much soy sauce (and it was low sodium. I ended up using hoisin sauce and spiracha in place of the peanut sauce and it turned out to be a really good last minute substitute.

I love the wrap, but I did make a few changes:

I cook the chicken in Olive Oil instead of Vegetable Oil for several reasons. It's healthier, and the chicken always smoked the house up when I used vegetable oil. I also add the soy after the chicken is cooked, and noticed less smoke, too.

I use store bought peanut sauce- I HATED the sauce Rachel made, and I tried it several different times. Plus, it was stiff as others mentioned, even after adding oil. I believe the brand we bought was Tsangs House of Thai or something like that. Cheap (about $1.50 and tasty.

I love the dressing for the veggies, though- a little sweet, a little tart- perfect for the cucumbers and fresh basil!
