We like spice but the stomach doesn't. We made it without the topping and it is EXCELLENT!!!

we really enjoyed this - although it is a TON of food, so be prepared for leftovers. My finacee does like cabbage so I turned the slaw into a tomato/cucumber salad with the same dressing which worked well.
While a lot of spice, this is a great way to dress up bland turkey - and also healthy!

Too hot and spicy for my wife and family. Easy and fun to make. If you make it, back off on the chili powder and the hot sauce.
Topping probably is not necessary in my opinion.

I have some really picky eaters they absolutely refuse to eat ground turkey. I didn't tell them it was turkey until they told me if it was a "keeper" or not. 100% said keep this recipe. Thanks Rachael---

I made this without the slaw. Everything was delicious. The burgers themselves were incredibly flavorful. The fries were easy and a unique taste. One warning: the burgers are pretty big. I could barely finish one with its chili topping!

The turkey burgers were amazing and healthier than beef burgers! We even served them to some unsuspecting guests who never even knew that they were not beef!

Simple recipe, and very tastey too! The chili is good on the burgers, but also good off the burgers. We are always looking for new ways to use the ground turkey and chicken.

Solid meal but it took more than 30 minutes to pull off. More like an 90 minutes.

I made the turkey chili burgers and my husband really liked them. I forgot the hot sauce, though. We didn't make the turkey chili topping. Good without it.
I made the slaw too. What a nice light different kind of slaw. I only used one teaspoon of hot sauce - but, would use maybe two the next time.
I would make both of these again.

I only made the turkey burgers, without the chili on top, fries or slaw. instead I served corn and zucchini. The turkey burgers were excellent! I added onion, cheese, and chopped red pepper inside and served plain so as to save on carbs; and topped the burgers with cilantro and chive sour cream. They were excellent! Everyone loved them and I will definitely make this recipe again and again.
