Really delicious and filling. I didn't have fresh tarragon either, so I used just over a tablespoon, since I was making this for two only. There is no fresh tarragon where we live, and by some sort of miracle there was actually some fresh basil! The lemon zest gave it a nice lively taste.

Delicious! I felt like I was eating at an italian restaurant. Was the first time I ever made pesto and I cook a lot. This recipe is really flexible. I made a few changes as did many of you who reviewed it. Used walnuts rather than pinenuts (since they are expensive, added an extra clove of garlic, used only zucchini, used the blender rather than the food processor, used dried tarragon rather than fresh ( prob about a teaspoon which I'm glad since many of you said the tarragon taste was too prevalent, and tri colored rotini since that is what I had on hand. Excellent! I ALMOST didn't even miss the meat (probably would have used chicken. Thanks Rachael and to all of you who reviewed this recipe. The reviews really help quite a bit.

This dish was delicious. I sauted the veggies and added crushed red pepper to the veg. The leftovers I used the next day and added some grilled cherry tomatoes for a different dish. Yummy!

This was really gross. The zucchini got too soft, and the lemon was really overpowering.

Absolutely LOVED this! Added some seasoned grilled chicken for some extra protein and it came out great. I may cut back a little on the lemon next time, but I really enjoyed the lemon undertone to the pesto. Very easy to prepare and did not take much time to get together at all. Can't wait to make it again and share this recipe!

We really enjoyed this. The vegetables were a tad crunchy and for what it's worth the dish seems to lose a lot of flavor when you microwave it (leftovers. I cut down on the lemon a bit. Overall, very yummy and wholesome!

This pasta was awful. My family hated it. I would not make this again. We ended up throwing the whole pot out. What a waste!

I didn't know if I liked tarragon and have never been a huge fan of pesto, but I figured since the rating were so high, I might as well try it. I was extremely pleased! The only variation I did was I added an extra (small clove of garlic because I only had 2 left and didn't feel like saving the last 1 (plus I love garlic. It turned out great! The pesto had a surprising undertone with tarragon and lemon. It doesn't look too impressive (all green and slightly brown pasta, but the flavor is fantastic. I will make it again!
