Us Russians always make this stuff. We eat it with everything:

I love this salad! I made this salad for a brunch last weekend, and served with some quiche - it was a great combo! I took tips from other reviewers, and added a little lemon juice and basil -- and it is perfect! The salad sat for probably 2 hours prior to eating -- the flavors had mixed nicely, but not soggy. I will make this again! Thanks for the recipe!

Refreshing, simple and delicious. Will be a staple in my house especially for summer.

This is simple and delicious! Since my family like onions, I sliced more than what was written. It tasted fresh and crispy.

The portions of things were a little off for my family's liking (i.e. I added a little more pepper and tomatoes than called for but otherwise we loved it. My son, who's 6 years old, couldn't get enough and ate two helpings! For farmers market people (as we are I strongly suggest trying this dish!

I usually love tomato and cucumber salads but this one was quite bland and I won't make again. I had to add lemon juice, cumin and celery seeds and cilantro to make it more interesting but by then it wasn't the original recipe.

This recipe was just what I was looking for! Delicious. I had to use apple cider vinegar, and grape tomatoes instead of plum tomatoes, because that's all I has on hand, but all in all a very easy and flavorful salad. I'll be taking some to my mother in law... so you know it MUST be good!

This could not be easier and it is delicious! I chopped it up smaller and did add lemon and lemon zest which added to the flavor. Did not have any fresh herbs but will try that next time just to compare. Today for leftovers I warmed up whole wheat pita bread and spread a couple TBS of hummus and spooned in the cucmber salad and, wow, it was delicious! My husband loved it so much he asked if we could have it on a weekly basis!
