Very quick, very yummy. I didn't have tortellini, so I used penne instead.

I was surprised at how easy the pesto was to make! I definatly would double the garlic and add a little more broth. the longest part of this recipe was waiting for the water to boil. Even my 7 year old picky eater brother enjoyed this dish. Also, for a more healthy italian meal, use vegetable broth instead of chicken, and buy whole grain tortellini.

Doubled the garlic, used whole wheat tortellini, and LOVED it. Only took 30 minutes total. Will definitely be making this again.

I like most of the RR recipes that I have tried. This one was not a hit. I love spinach, but we did not care for the spinach pesto. I rated two stars because my husband was able to stomach it. Will not make again.

I have tried many of Rachel's recipes and this is one of the only ones that I want to make again. It has a good balance of flavor and simplicity while at the same time being easy to prepare.

This recipe was pretty simple and tasted good too, however, it was nothing spectacular and I don't think I'll be making it again. I prefer pesto sauce made from basil rather than spinache (the spinache was a little overpowering.
