I made this dish for my fiance and I. We did not like the dish. We have never had Puttanesca before. Perhaps this is a dish for people who've tried something similar in the past and have liked it.

Oddly enough, I have been watching Rachael Ray for at least 7 years and I have never ventured to make one of her dishes. No idea why. But anyway, I had left over halibut from fish & chips over the weekend and wanted a way to use it up. I peeled the breading off the fish and mixed it with a can of tuna. Everything else I just eyeballed and tasted. She's right, the only thing that takes long with this meal is getting the water to boil for the pasta. I highly recommend this dish it is so versatile you can add or take out anything you like. YUM-O

This is delicious and easy. Will definitely make again. Is just as good cold too (eating leftovers for lunch right now!
I did add a few feta crumbles to the top. Yummy!

The only thing I will do different next time is skip the lemon zest. That, combined with the capers was too "tart" for our taste. I also might add some parmesan cheese at the table to add to the top. All in all, we were pleased with this dish - simple and good.

I saw Rachel make this and it looked so good I made it for dinner that night. Don't skip the topping of lemon and parsley. You won't be disappointed!

I really loved the flavors but the tuna all but disappeared as it broke down in the dish and adding the starch water from the pasta made it a tad watery. I would leave the water out next time. Nice and easy though!

Made this exactly as written. Used albacore tuna, canned black olives (kalamatas are just too salty for my taste, and a full tsp of red pepper flakes. The flavor was awesome and the whole family loved it! I DO NOT like "fishy" dishes and this was far from it. Combined with the cost (VERY inexpensive, this is a meal that can't be beat. Will definitely add this one to rotation! Thanks Rachel!!
