    Wow, I wasn't sure what to expect because I had never before made anything with ground turkey, but these were so good!! Couldn't stop eating them!! The poultry seasoning added great flavor too. These are more like Turkey-Mushroom burgers, not meatloaf though... but that is fine with me. Thanks Rachel Ray!!!

    Started this meal without realizing I was missing a few of the pieces, but it was too late to turn back! Instead of Worcestershire sauce, I used soy sauce. Instead of shallot I used a quarter white onion. I made the chicken broth using bullion cubes.

    Result: Tasty and cooked to perfection! The gravy was the saving grace since I was missing so many pieces. I would like to try it again with everything RR suggested, but otherwise a fan!

    If you want an excellent twist to the trite hanburgers & gravy, this is it. Turkey is a bland meat so the mushrooms accented nicely. I had garlic / rosemary mashed potatoes with the gravey and green peas. All flavors worked well together and was a welcome change from the standard hanburgers & gravy.

    The patties don't end up looking very pretty, but they taste GREAT! The substitutions I made were fresh thyme for fresh sage and fresh breadcrumbs (with some dried basil instead of dried. The results were quite tasty. The only thing that makes it a longer 30 minute meal than I'd like was the process of making the gravy afterwards. I really recommend the gravy (esp. with mashed potatoes on the side, but it was a bit time consuming.

    I've made this recipe a few times and never found a balance.. either the flavors were too bland or too much "snap" of the fresh sage.

    Tonight while cooking, I decided to change it up. I sauteed the onions and garlic til semi-translucent. Then added the mushrooms (salt and peppered. After the mushrooms looked like they were on their way to cooking, I added 2-3 turns of balsamic vinegar. I waited a minute until the mushrooms soaked up the balsamic, then quickly tossed in the fresh chopped sage and fresh parsley.

    I found taking the time with the mushrooms greatly enhanced this recipe. (No longer bland. ;

    Good luck everyone!

    This recipe was very easy and quick to follow compared to the others that required an hour or so to make. Gave flavor to otherwise hard to season ground turkey. Would definitely try this again and will definitely choose it over ground beef

    Although I cook a lot, I have made a meatloaf and I have also never used ground turkey. Since trying to eat more healthy, I bought some and decided to try this recipe. I chopped half a container of sliced button mushrooms, a half a red onion, 2 stalks of celery and a couple of cloves of garlic. After sauteing, I cooked them according to the recipe and then made my own gravy, adding the other half of mushrooms (broken into rough pieces by hand, a few more leaves of chopped sage and some shakes of Italian seasoning.

    The patties came out very moist and tasty. For those new to meatloaves and/or ground turkey, this is a great way to try your hand at both and will really let you be as creative as you'd like!

    I used only cremini mushrooms. This recipe was GREAT. I'm a novice cook, so it took me about 45-60 minutes. But BOY, was it worth it!!!! YUMMY YUMMY.
