The meat is very juicy and there's no fat at all. Turkey is very healthy combine with onion, mushrooms and red bell pepper, if you are on low carb, you mush try it.

My husband and I do not eat red meat but turkey meat can be very bland in burgers. Needless to say I was blown away by these. So was my husband and he isn't even a burger fan. Mine didn't fall apart but I used the tips from others about leaving them alone for 5 minutes before turning. i also added carmelized onions on top - TRY these you will not be disappointed!

This was good and the flavors really came out more as leftovers the next day. I used the egg to hold it together as others had suggested, but I also suggest mincing the vegetables very finely. I'm just not as good at chopping as Rachel! I'll use my food processor next time.

MADE THIS FOR MY HUSBAND AND I. CUT THE RECIPE IN HALF AND USED GROUND CHICKEN BREAST, DIDN'T HAVE TURKEY. WILL FIX IT OFTEN.

This recipe is a total hit if you love turkey burgers. I think it's the best one I've ever had. It's simple to make and the portobella mushroom 'buns' are great if you are watching the carbs!
My husband loved and I also shared the recipe with my parents who loved it as well!

I had a failed turkey burger attempt a few months ago where my husband refused to eat the result. I decided to try this recipe for lunch this week, making it on a Monday night to take for lunch each day this week. It is absolutely fabulous. For those that had trouble with the burgers falling apart, make sure you let them cook long enough on the first side. They are delicate. You pretty much get one shot at flipping, so make sure you wait long enough to do it. Definitely will make again, maybe next time I'll try them on my hubby for dinner.

No great shakes on this. The turkey burgers fell apart and I felt the veggies needed to be sauted a little and cooled before adding to turkey meat....I didn't care for the raw crunch too much. We felt the portobello caps could have been cooked a bit more for our taste, but to each his own. If you don't like things spicy at all, then cut back on the pepper flakes! Sorry, Rachael!
