Great Fall recipe, especially if you're looking for something "clean" and healthy. I added 2 cups of sour cream and in hindsight, I would've added some corn to the chili mixture and not as much nutmeg to the whipped potatoes. The recipe calls for "nutmeg to taste" and unfortunately, I'm not really sure what that means. You could definitely taste the nutmeg and it was too much. I would also omit the orange rind as it's not needed and I don't think it adds much. Also, if you aren't familiar with Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals be forewarned: they rarely actually take only 30 minutes. Give yourself a good hour to prepare this dish. Overall, a nice "comfort" food that is really nutritious. There isn't one empty calorie in this dish!

This was sooo yummy, perfect on a cold rainy night... just a big bowl of warm comfort! And so easy! - I served it with a big salad and it was a huge hit!

Very good dish. It does take longer than 30 minutes to make, but worth it.

This was a smash hit at our house. I did tweak it a bit since I didn't have all the exact ingredients tho...here's what I did:

*Substituted plain greek yogurt for the sourcream
*Substituted 1 pound of cooked chicken breast (leftovers from a roast chicken the night before for 1 pound of the ground turkey
*Substituted pepper jack cheese for the cheddar cheese
*Added an additional Serrano chili to the two jalapenos
*Added an additional couple of cloves of garlic

This will definitely be made again!

I decided I wanted to start learning to cook. Take out every night gets super expensive. I decided to tackle this recipe and HOLY COW it tasted yumilicious!! And what a stress reliever it is to mash your own potatoes. This was so much fun to make!

All five of us in our family gives this a big thumbs up! My husband and I enjoy the heat, but when making it for the whole family I subsitute chili powder & use less. But wonderful flavor combinations and the red pepper adds a bit of sweetness that is delicious. We make this a lot.

THANK YOU R.R.!!!! This was fantastic! Especially on a rainy chilly night.
The sweet potato part was fabulous, but I think I will try to make a skinnier version so that we can have this more often.
I've given this recipe to all my friends. Also, it's true that the leftovers are fabulous.
I love her buffalo meatloaf as well.
    Sweet and Spicy = YUM!

Easy and delicious. I substituted Yukon gold potatoes for the sweet potatoes. My husband didn't even know it was turkey. So good on a cold day!

I was nervous about the combo of flavors, but it worked out so well! Can't believe I waited so long to make it..... maybe less cheese... 2 cups is a bit of overkill...

This was a super easy and tasty dish, we will be making this again for sure. I used one can of black beans as well. The sweet potato and orange is an interesting combo - but it works! Also, don't make the mistake I did in using chipolte powder instead of chili powder - it was VERY spicy. Good thing we like spice!
