This is the best chili you will ever have. And if you want to kick it up a noch just add more chipolte peppers. so good.

I didn't find this unusual like other reviewers, just lacking in flavour. And that should be slightly obvious as there's so little fat/flavour in ground turkey. I added fresh poblanos to give it some depth and the chipotles clearly added heat. I usually have to cook low fat for my clients (I'm a private chef but refuse to make chili unless it uses ground beef.

I made this last night for dinner. It was spicy just like my husband and I like. I am glad I read the reviews prior to making. I cut out the stock and just used the beer. Came out the perfect consistancy for us that way. I did cook it down a little longer than 10 minutes too. The corn cakes are a nice addition to this chili. My husband can not stop raving about this meal.

I added the beer and tomatoes and a splash of broth. It turned our perfectly. I served it over rice with cheese and avocado.

Ummmm, this is very unusual "chili". The taste is okay and consistency is fine but I have never had chili like this before. I really don't know how else to explain it other than it's just really different. The corn cakes are pretty good, I'll make them again. But I did not finish my bowl of chili...my husband on the other hand really liked it. I think it all comes down to personal taste.

This chili was excellent. It is lean and not as "thick" as many chili recipes can be, but my husband and I like this quality. The flavor is incredible. I did look at the reviews first, and eliminated the chicken stock to reduce the "soupiness" and it turned out perfectly. We love the corn cakes, too...what a great idea!!!!! This will be a regular on our family menus.

This recipe was the Best!!! My family enjoyed it. The toppers made a surprise w/the cheese inside, went great w/the chili. I had to substitute the beer and the turkey. Excellent Rachel Ray....
