You're Kidding. This is hardly chilli, nor good. 7 to 10 minutes of simmering makes wet turkey. This is soup - Bland lifeless soup.
I added celery, kidney beans, tomato paste, more spice and 3 hrs of simmer to make this into something edible. This recipe is not worth the silent treatment I recieved for the rest of the evening.

this turkey corn chili is amazing! i've made it several times and friends all love it. i've used a rotisserie chicken where i've shredded the chicken meat, and also used shredded chicken breasts once (since after thanksgiving when i made this recipe again i didn't have turkey!. sometimes i add more spices since i really enjoy spicy food.
every time i make this i place the chili in a big serving dish and on the side i have little bowls of cilantro, shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onion, tortilla chips, and saltines... i let my friends bowl up their chili how they like it. thank you rachael! not only was this a good solution for leftover turkey, but a great recipe to make whenever w/chicken.

This was a great meal for leftover turkey. I had a lot of turkey in the refridgerator and could not bear another turkey meal but I needed to get rid of the leftovers. This was perfect!!!!!!!!!!! It got rid of the turkey and the left over corn. It was also a great meal for the cold winter day we are having. Thank you Rachel Ray. You always have the best recipes!

I knew Rachael would have a good 30 minute chili recipe and this one sure delivered. While chili is something that always benefits from long slow cooking in say a crockpot or the oven, I wanted dinner quick and this certainly delivered. I made mine with ground bison beer instead of the turkey and chicken stock and added a few touches from Tyler Florence (e.g. a chopped square of baking chocolate to make it smooth plus a little cinnamon. I think of chili as the quintessential new world food, especially in recipes like this that use corn, tomatoes, chili peppers, and in my case, chocolate. Chili recipes are definitely a jumping off point for combining great healthy things, so I added beans and chipotles in adobo and would like to try with hominy in place of the corn next time. A total winner though, just be sure to season as you go, especially with the salt. And I can't believe Ms. Ray has a recipe like this with no garlic! I added a few minced cloves at the end thinking I'd missed something, but now I see garlic is not even in the recipe!

I normally don't even like chili, but I figured that maybe making one myself might change my mind. Well, I figured right! I substituted the leftover turkey for a package of ground turkey, and it was STILL amazing. I loved the sweetness of the corn... I used all the spices that the recipe called for, and though I was scared--because I'm a VERY big wimp when it comes to spiciness(I was wincing the whole time I was chopping up the jalapeno, the result was tasteful and delicious! In fact, my fingers are burning(even now more than my mouth is. I will definitely make this for my boyfriend, who is a HUGE chili fan. I'm going to try adding red beans next time.
Thank you Rachael Ray~

That's what my boyfriend said when he finished his second bowl. It was a delicious recipe, easy to prepare and great for lunch the next day. I added red kidney beans to make it more hearty. Thanks Rachael.
