I make this all the time when company comes, but the cranberry/Orange muffins aren't always available so I use 2 or 3 corn muffins instead. Also, I live by a Halal meat market and they sale turkey chops, Shady Brook Farms makes turkey chops too. They are thicker and meatier than turkey cutlets. Sometimes I just do the turkey and gravy part of the recipe and make mashed potatoes or rice with some other vegetable. Tasty and great fo company.

Pretty good. I used 3 corn muffins instead of the cran/orange because I don't like orange anything and I added coarsely chopped chestnuts. The stuffing was a hit, the cutlets were ok. The store brand I bought were too thin so they were a little dry. I had a little trouble with the gravy, getting thick but maybe because I used broth instead of stock. I'll make this again because it's an easy "Thanksgiving" meal for those who don't want to make a huge turkey.

I didn't bother with the stuffing as I'm watching what I eat and preferred to get more nutrition out of some herbed mashed potatoes, so I can't comment on that. The turkey cutlets and gravy, however, were very good. I am always a little skeptical as to RR's recipes but this one is a keeper.

The 2 stars are for the cutlets and gravy, which I did enjoy and will make again. I wanted so much to like this, but the cranberry orange stuffing is just a bad idea. I used a fat free cran-orange mix b/c no muffins at the store, but it made for insanely sweet stuffing that had a wet gumminess that no reduction of liquid could have fixed. I even tried frying up the stuffing in a bit of butter the next day to see if it would crisp up some, but it was a total loss.

This recipe was so delicious and very easy to prepare. I'm relatively new to cooking but this recipe encourages me to cook some more. The turkey cutlets turned out tender and delcious. I thought the stuffing was great although my husband and 8 year old daughter thought it was a little too sweet. I explained to them that there was cranberries and oranges in the stuffing but I'll try to use corn bread next time as someone else previously suggested to tame the sweetness. I actually made gravy from scratch - not from a bottle - and it was wonderful. Despite complaining about the sweetness of the stuffing, my whole family devoured all the food. This whole meal reminded me of a Thanksgiving feast and I will definitely be making this again soon!

I tried this three years ago when Rachel first showed it. My family, who had always had that traditional 20 pound with sausage stuffing dinners, loved, Loved, LOVED it. AND they have asked for it for other occasions as well as insist this is the new tradition for out Thanksgiving dinners. NOTE: To answer those that have said the stuffing is mushy -- I have my muffins out on a plate the day before the big day so when I break them up they will be more the consistency of perhaps a good cornbread would be for stuffing.
Really love, love this from beginning to delicious last drop!

I made this recipe w/out the stuffing due to my son's wheat allergy. I made the turkey cutlet and gravy by substituting the wheat flour with brown rice flour. Instead of the stuffing, I made homemade mashed potatoes with green beans on the side. As suggested, I put the turkey over the mashed potatoes and poured the gravy over the top. My husband, son and I love the taste and how quick and easy it was to substitute some of the ingredients. The next time I am going to try and make our own wheat free/gluten free cranberry orange muffins so we can try the whole recipe.

This was a great dinner. It was really easy to make. My only complaint is the stuffing was a little mushy, so next time I won't use as much stock.
