I loved this recipe, it's perfect for a mini-Thanksgiving. I knew the muffins would be too sweet for me. I used a small package of corn muffin mix (makes 6 muffinsinstead. I added 1/2 cup fresh cranberries to the batter, 1-2 teaspoons of grated orange peel and substituted 1-2 Tablespoons of orange juice for some of the milk - you can vary this by your preference. Since the muffins aren't the jumbo bakery ones, I crumbled 3 into the stuffing mixture. (I had 3 muffins left to serve with the meal. This is absolutely awesome. It's not sweet and soggy like a regular muffin and I like cornbread in stuffing for the flavor and texture. This makes Rachel's recipe perfect.

I only made the stuffing but it was fantastic. Perfect blend of sweet and savory. Even my incredibly picky brother ate it up. Now he refuses to touch the Stove Top stuff.

This was fast, easy and not bad. I like the tangy/sweet taste and the pan gravy comes out great.

I made the turkey cutlet with pan gravy - easy on the gravy and no stuffing. My husband just loved it. So easy to prepare and under 30 minutes since I didn't make the stuffing which really looks great. We are watching our carbs so no stuffing and just a drizzle of gravy for flavor. Serve with steamed mixed veggies and a little rice (if allowed and you have a great meal. - no fuss.

I only made the turkey cutlets with the pan gravy. Both were excellent and my family really enjoyed the meal.

this recipe looked divine on TV and in truth it was pretty darn good and a good low-key thanksgiving. I think next time i'd suggest NOT using cranberry orange as it was too orangey. Also, i doubled the muffins and enjoyed that better. Overall, good but don't suggest cran=orange muffins.
