This recipe was so well received by my family (even the 3 year old, that I had very little leftovers . .what little I had, I brought to the office and one of my coworkers is going to make it for her family. Only problem will be .. no more left over gravy . .

Way to go Rachel!! This is a great way to make something new out of leftover turkey. I suggest substituting cannellini beans if you don't like, or are unsure about hominy. I've made it both ways and they are equally yummy!

I loved this soup but made the following change. Instead of using tomatillos, I substituted a jar of salsa verde. This is much simpler but would suggest only using one jalapeno instead of two as it was REALLY spicy this way!
    Thanks again Rachael!

Now I will admit I changed this up just a bit but the bases was the same and this was the best soup! I don't even care for soup that much and this was outstanding. I will absolutely make it again and again!!!!!!

We loved this recipe!! We added diced avocado, shredded jack cheese and a dollop of sour cream on top and it was wonderful. We will be making this again.

We wanted something that didn't taste like left over turkey and dressing. This was perfect. Everyone loved it and it was quite easy. I only used 1 jalepeno because it don't like it too hot and it was just right. Thanks Rachel.

This was well received by friends who thought that hominy was something that you fed the farm animals. Not only did he eat it, he took the rest home in a container for the next day.
