Found the meatloaf tasty, but too moist, so will cut back the broth in the stuffing part next time. Roux needed butter for browning the flour and adding more flavor. Did not need but a splash of milk for the potatoes. Will make these adjustments the next time I try this. Like the general idea, but I really love roasted turkey and find it very simple to prepare. Loved the stuffing flavored with apples, onions, and celery.

Fixed two separate recipes - one for the family and one for a shut-in from my church. I hope he didn't mind how moist the meatloaf was.

I have now thrown away every Meatloaf recipe I have…I will never make another Meatloaf recipe, accept for this one. The leftover’s made the most astounding sandwiches, light and moist. The next night with the leftovers, I made a Bolognese sauce. If you haven’t guessed, I loved it and it makes a lot.

My husband says that he doesn't need to look forward to Thanksgiving when he gets to eat meals like this all year round!

Thanksgiving comfort food that can be made any weeknight! This recipe did not disappoint. Make your favorite stuffing and follow her instructions for mixing it all together. I did add the apple as the recipe calls for, and I appreciated the sweetness. I used more stuffing than recipe calls for and less ground turkey (package came as 1 1/3 lb, and it was great! Although I frequently cook fussy and complicated home-cooked meals (that the kids won't eat, I cut corners tonight and made a kid friendly meal that included gravy from a jar, corn from a can, and store-bought mashed potatoes. Glad I did. Thanks, Rachel!

Delicious comfort food! To make it healthier, I have replaced butter with 1 Tbsp of olive oil, replaced the broth with pureed zucchini and 3 chicken bouillon cubes, added grated carrot and 2 gloves garlic

Dang tasty! We are Gluten- free so. . .I used GF bread and GF flour. Didn't have any apples in the house so we used mushrooms. The GF bread is slightly sweetened with fruit juice so I think it compensated for the apples a bit. Rave reviews from all that ate it - tasted just like Thanksgiving.
