Guys, it's not 2 CANS of chipotle peppers in adobo, it's 2 chipotle peppers in adobo from one can. I can only imagine how spicy that would be! I am a wimp and think that one pepper is a lot!

I have been making this chilli ever since I saw it of food net work, it is always a hit. I have made some addaptations over the years, I use Samual Adams, and sirloin steak cut into bite sized pieces. This recipe is so versitile theres no limit to what you can do.

I had a great start on preparing the recipe and it cooked really nicely. However, when I served it to my famiy,we all had a hard time eating this meal. It was way to spicy. I will try to make this recipe again next week, but use 1 can of chipotle instead of 2.

Loved this chilli. I also made the mistake of adding 2 cans of chillies in but even though it was so spicy it was still good. I couldn't eat it all but my husband did. He was sweating. We realized out mistake and made it again with chipotle chilli powder since we were having guest and they don't care for spicy and it was awesome!!! This recipe will be in my family for years to come.

first time I ever made chili. This was so easy and with quick gratification! I'm too impatient for slow cooking foods when i cook most of the time! Used chili powder and dried thyme. Still VERY GOOD!

I made this for the big game on Sunday. Made it during pre game and let it simmer until half time. It came out perfect! I didn't add the green peppers or the Worcestershire sauce (since I don't like either and it still turned out great! Based on how it was looking I added a large can of crushed tomatoes instead on the 15 oz. I also, used scallions to top off the chili rather than onions. Rather than smoked Gouda, which I couldn?t find, I used sharp white cheddar and chipotle cheddar for those who wanted to spice it up. ONLY USE 2 Peppers from the can NOT 2 CANS of peppers. It's got just enough heat for you to know it's there, but not so much to make it tough to eat. If my mom can eat it, anyone can. If someone likes it hotter, get some Tabasco or use the spicy cheese.

Very spicy!!!! The cheese cooled it down a bit. Not sure I would make again. Loved all the mushrooms.

I did not put mushrooms as my son is allergic and I didn't do the chipotle as I don't do heat, but the rest oh I didn't do the beer either as we don't drink, but everyone in my family loved it and said the best chili I have ever made. They also said it had flavor. They ate it without having to add stuff. I loved it too. Thank you so much Rachael!!!!
