This peanut butter sauce is fantastic for so many desserts besides just ice cream. I like to make Ina's Brownie Pudding and drizzle this sauce on top. Together it is my favorite dessert. Personally I do prefer the smooth peanut butter for this and I leave out the ginger snaps.

. . . all dated April 5th.
If dogs are lactose intolerant, what are they consuming as puppies, before they are weaned from their mother?
Feeding a dog a few licks of ice cream or peanut butter will not harm them. They eat dried up kitty poop out of litter boxes, I think a dab of ice cream is within reason.

Come on, by now you know that dairy foods are bad for dogs, they are LACTOSE INTOLERANT!!!! If you don't believe it, ask your vet. On top of that, sugary foods lead to diabetes, obesity and dental problems in dogs. When's the last time you saw a wolf eating an ice cream cone??? Get with it Rachael, stop recommending these unhealthy foods for pets!

This was so, so good! I added bacon and we all loved it, even our two doggies Isabutt and Butt.

This might taste okay for humans, but it looks like instant diarrhea for dogs! Get some "Frosty Paws" instead...they're made specially for dogs' digestive system...or just go to the local DQ and get a baby size cone. Eat the ice cream and gingersnaps yourself.

This is possibly one of the worst things you could feed to a dog. Shame on you Rachael!
