This is an extremely easy and delicious meal to make. I am not a cooking pro, so it took me an hour, not 30 minutes. For those who are kinda slow at chopping veggies, I suggest chopping them ahead of time, or buying already sliced veggies. If you use the tube biscuits, I cooked mine for ten minutes, so they weren't completely done. That way, when the whole meal goes into the oven for 8 minutes, they finish cooking then and aren't overdone. Easy meal for any day of the week.

This recipe was delicious. The sauce was a little runny. Next time I would add less broth or more flour to thicken it up more. Also I served it over rice instead of with biscuits. It was delicious.

My family liked this. It was very easy to make. I cut way down on the amount of thyme though. One full teaspoon of dried thyme would overpower the dish. Also, for the reviewer who said the chicken was tough after boiling it, that's the problem right there. The recipe calls for poaching the chicken, NOT boiling it. For poaching, the water should barely be simmering. I thought the chicken was very tender.

Sorry, but I did not like this recipe at all. The chicken tenders come out tough and chewy after boiling them in the stock. The "sauce" was far too thin for my tastes. Stick to pot pie recipes.

This is a great recipe! My family loved it. My husband said it was one of the best things I have ever made and all 5 kids liked it. You do have to cook the biscuits longer than stated. Give it an extra few minutes.

I made this for the first time last night. My husband, who likes to think of himself sometimes as a food critic, raved about this dinner. It was easy, delicious and a nice comfort food. Only problem I had was that the biscuits were a little undercooked on the bottoms so I just tossed them onto a baking sheet upside down and let them finish cooking for a few minutes. This is a definite keeper! We love you, Rachael!

Talk about loving a dish. Rachael Ray's Vermont Chicken Pie was a major hit at my house. For my husband, it was all about the taste... he loved it. For me, it was the fact that it was ultra easy to prepare, it was delicious, and it got me rave compliments. This one is a sure winner. If you don't try it, you'll miss out on an easy, quick, and very savory meal... and possibly a hug. :-
