Photo: Vodka Still Works Cocktail Recipe
I first had this drink on my honeymoon when the safari lodge that we stayed in insisted my husband and I enjoy our first night as man and wife at their lodge in our rooms. They served these cocktails before a 4 course meal, en suite! WOW! Talk about a love at first sip! This cocktail makes a great first impression on any mate, whether you are single or married!
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Angostura bitters
- 2 shots chilled vodka
- 6 to 8 ounces ginger ale
Directions
Place bitters in a tall glass and combine with vodka using a cocktail spoon. Add ice to glass then fill with ginger ale and stir again. Serve with a straw.

Found this recipe through a list of "oddly named Rachael Ray recipes" and I'm glad I have. This drink is very refreshing and has a great flavor from the bitters. It's very highly recommended and I know I'll be making this one again in the future.
