My family loves this recipe. It's so quick and easy but my husband does have a sweet tooth so I did add about 3-4 tbsps of granulated sugar. I normally like bland...maybe just a little sweet but I agree that it does need some sugar other than the brown sugar. Before I put it in a pie pan (serving dish, I also crush some graham crackers to give it an apple pie kind of texture. 2 crackers crushed on the bottom...2 crackers crumbled on the top of the apples. It's great!!

Something so simple and easy is always beyond my grasp as a cook. I tend to strive for the difficult recipe's thinking they're the best, often missing the simple one's. This was so simple and so delicious that I can't believe I haven't made this in the last 15 years of cooking! Everyone devoured it in minutes. I will save this one as a "keeper"! Thank you again Rachel! XO..another loyal "upstater". :- LA
