This recipe took me a lot longer than 30 mins -- I don't chop very quickly, and the chicken and carrots took about twice as long. I plan to try the following things to cut down cooking and prep time:
    * use carrot sticks -- no peeling, just slicing
    * potatoes -- buy the pre-cubed ones in a package from store
    * use chicken tenders instead of chicken breast for quicker cooking time

I love to cook this when I have company coming over for dinner. They are always impressed, and can't believe it is a 30 Minute Meal! A Belgian friend told me it is very authentic, and he should know!

I love cooking for my parents and younger siblings and they love me cooking. When I choose this recipe they all eyeballed me kind of funny. But when it came time to eat the aroma had everyone's mouths watering. They all loved it and everyone had seconds. Try this recipe over rice also.

I have made this recipe four different times, for four different sets of people and everyone who had it really enjoyed it.

Well, it really does take more than 30 minutes to make but, oh... what a wait. This is the best soup for comfortable gathering. This soup uses wonderful herbs, like spig of tyme and bay leaves and then the cream make the soup so reach and smooth.

Best of all is the presentation. This is a lovely show with wonderful colors.

Just a note. I add a hand full of pasta to make it even more hearty.

This soup is made for a good book and a fireplace. It has become our family favorite.
