Incredible, this is a fabulous recipe, I added just a little of Adobo for added flavor. Then stirred in a little cilantro right before serving and it was a home run. I will definitely make this again.

The whole family likes this. My husband and I add more chipotle in adobo to ours. I crumble chips on top for crunch, as I tried adding them and it was received better this way. Made for an office party ahead of time and it holds up very well.

Solid soup recipe. I made it once with fresh corn and once with frozen corn. MUCH better with fresh corn. Will make again.

Winner! I made it for a potluck. Initially, I used two chipotle peppers and it was shockingly spicy --- I added more tomato sauce and chicken stock to cut the heat. The soup still came out great and everyone loved it. My husband asked me to make it again -- I used only 1 chipotle pepper this time and it was just as flavorful. Another Go-To Recipe!

Excellent soup! I did make a few adjustments- did not grill the corn or peppers- diced the onion & peppers and sauteed in oil. Used 1 cup frozen corn, and no zucchini (not a fan. Used 3 chipotles as we like spicy. My market had griiled lemon garlic chicken breasts so I diced those. ANd used the stewed tomatoes but not the sauce. I guess I made quite a few changes but think the chicken would still cross the road for this!

This recipe never fails to get compliments. The flavors are fantastic and very interesting. I think some of the low reviews are due to confusion about the chpotle con adobo peppers. The recipe calls for 1 to 2 PEPPERS not cans of peppers. Chipotle are quite spicy so moderation is key. I start with one half of a single pepper and a half teaspoon of the adobo sauce and build after tasting. I have made this for years and always enjoy...I also make sure to add a dollop of sour cream and handful of crushed blue tortilla at time of plating right before serving.

Loved the soup! Will definitely make again! Easy to make and the spice is nice for a cold winter day or fighting off a chest cold. I added a can of rinsed black beans, 2 more cups of broth, diced green chilies, and carrots.
