Mix the eggs, salt and sugar until thoroughly blended. Stir in 1 cup of milk. Add flour until a thick batter is formed. Add a splash of vegetable oil to mixture. Pour the batter into a hot, oiled skillet. Fry until golden on 1 side, then flip over and brown the other side.

    I read the recipe and saw that it was written badly. There should be an additional line that reads:

    Pour a ladleful of batter into prepared pan, twirling pan to coat the bottom.

    The current recipe sounds as if you pour all the batter in at once. I've made lots of crepes and know this, but a novice, not seeing the show, would not.
