My husband, not a meatloafer, loved this. I made the meat mixture almost exactly as stated. I substituted the one cup milk for 1/4 cup heavy cream. And I substituted the cheddar for blue cheese. It was great. But, it took almost an hour to cook and the bacon was still slightly under done. Next time I will turn on the broiler to crisp the bacon. This is a keeper.

This recipe was great. I made several alterations though. I didn't use ketchup, instead I used 1 cup of a four cheese marinara sauce, no milk, half of a sweet onion, and 3/4 of a green bell pepper. Also I stuffed it only with Sharp VT cheddar, I didn't use ham or bacon. It came out fantastic!

Very juicy, a great twist on meatloaf. For a basic meatloaf, just leave out the ham and cheese and you have a very flavorful meatloaf.

I stuck to the basic receipe but I added roasted red peppers on top of the ham in the middle and it was a wonderful addition. I got an A+ from my family.
