Gran Marnier and Chambord are very expensive, so I used Triple Sec and Raspberry di Amore. I didn't care for the seeds at the bottom of the glass. Also, the frozen raspberries were quite tart, so I added a little sugar. It didn't help. I was disappointed in this recipe. Sorry.

My husband and I always make Emerils Fierce margarita recipe and are thrilled with it. We thought it would be fun to try something a bit different for a change. The recipe was easy to make and tasty. However both my husband and I preferred the salty margarita to the sweet one. This recipe is rather sweet. That being said we thought they were nice, but prefer the other recipe. I think anyone who likes drinks on the sweet side would adore this recipe.
