    So easy so delicious! Used up my frozen bread, added some cinnamon and topped with whipped cream. Thanks for helping me learn to stock my pantry too.

    I doubled the apples and added cinnamon and it was fantastic. As it cooled it shrunk up so when i make it next time I may double everything. We all loved it. Might cut back on the butter a little bit.It's a keeper!

    I sprinkled cinnamon over the apples and added chopped pecans. Very cheap and easy recipe. Hit with my husband and kids.

    EXCELLENT! Just like Mom used to make! If using apples other than tart Granny Smith apples, I suggest using ony 1 cup brown sugar. My husband really loved it and I started to take the credit... but I decided to take the high road and said, "You can thank the Pioneer Woman!" Way to go, Ree!

    Oh My! I saw this recipe on TV today and wanted to make it so much I sent my husband out in a snowstorm to pick up hearty bread. This was amazing. Each cube of bread had the sweet taste of sugar, the tart taste of apple and the simple goodness of butter! The only change I would make would be to add more apples. it was a perfect desert for a cold winter night in New Jersey. The entire family loved it!
