Just WOW! There are insufficient superlatives to describe that sauce. Thank you Ree for choosing to unveil it to your viewers rather than locking it up in a vault (where amazing secret recipes belong ;-

Since the supermarket did not carry plum jelly, I opted for Chinese "Plum Sauce" which contains some of these ingredients and is already thickened, eliminating one step. The rice wine vinegar and soy sauce actually helped to thin it out slightly. The sauce was then embellished with the addition of ginger, garlic, red onion and kicked up with chopped jalapeno and habanero peppers, along with the crushed red pepper. In lieu of frying the wings, I opted to 'oven fry' them on a high temperature.

This sauce is so wonderfully good! I have to tell you: I didn't make the chicken wings. Instead, I put this sauce on pork ribs! I boiled the pork ribs plain for about 10 minutes while the sauce simmered, then browned the ribs in a skillet. Then I poured the sauce into the skillet and simmered it all together for about 45 minutes, turning the ribs over a couple of times. They were so sweet, spicy, and tender! I whipped up a batch of Pioneer Woman's Sesame Noodles, and stir fried some veggies with mustard and soy sauce...perfect Asian dinner!

I absolutely loved these wings! I have been making wings for over 20 years and these are by far the best. I made the sauce a day ahead and refrigerated it, then ran it through my Magic Bullet to smooth it out a little. I used 5-Pepper blend in place of the red pepper flakes and replaced the assorted peppers with Sambal Oelek chili paste because that's what I had on hand. I will definitely make these again! Thanks for a great recipe!

DELISH!! My husband and I watched Ree this morning and made the Asian wings and the classic wings tonight. I am so pleased with how they turned out! I will say my hubby loves wings and ate more of the Asian wings than me even though he thought they would be more "girly" wings! They were sweet and hot and I can't wait to make them Super Bowl weekend!! Thanks Ree for another amazing dish!

This are wonderful!! I love hot wings, but I like these better. The sweet and the hot, it just doesn't get any better for a wing. I'll be making both, because my guys prefer the tobasco hot wings. Thanks for the recipe!
