Family loved it! Delicious and easy. I made my own self rising flour so I didn't have to buy separate self rising, came out great. I used frozen blackberries and did not thaw. I served it with some fresh whipped cream.Winner! I will definitely be making this recipe again.

Went to the store this weekend and saw that blackberries were on sale. Took out my phone to find a recipe I could use them with and found this one. It's so simple and so good. I served them in individual serving dishes with vanilla ice cream on top while it was still warm. It was to die for. Everyone in the family loved it! My only comment would be that I used a 4 qt baking dish and had to double the recipe but it was no big deal. I will definitely make this again and try it with different fruits.

I made this recipe today and it was perfect! I used strawberries and blueberries instead of blackberries and it turned out beautifully. I will definitely make this again. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!!

I made this to have for dessert one day. Of course I tried one little bit to be sure it was ok to serve to the family and it was! oh my gosh! So delicious. Went off about my day, Came home and my 26 year old son had stopped by and he ate 3/4 of it before I got home to stop him. So he and I alone know the deliciousness of this dish that I will be making once I find blackberries on sale again :

This is to die for! Simple and delicious. Reminds me of a big fluffy pancake or muffin. Perfect warm with whipped cream.
I don't keep self rising flour in my pantry so made my own by adding 1½ teaspoonsof baking powder and ½ teaspoon salt to the 1 cup of flour.
This is a recipe that I will use over and over.
P.S.
The recipe doesn't state what size dish to use. I used a 2 qt square and it was great. The crispy corners are the best!

Yummy!! I replaced brown sugar for 1/2 the white, unsalted for salted butter and increased to 1 full stick and used 7 medium Gala Apples, peeled, cored and cut with a 16 slice apple corer. OH my, I cannot make an Apple Pie, and do not like anyway, but this recipe has changed my mind on apple desserts. I'm going to try strawberries this week! The final product has the consistency of a fruit custard.....decadent!!! No Whip Cream or Ice Cream are necessary to improve this.....Thank you Ree!!

This recipe was good, but the taste was not amazing. Blackberry lovers and fruit lovers would probably like this recipe. I like fruit, but I guess I'm not used to cooking with it. I thought it was okay.

This is one of my most favorite things to make. My family just loves it! I've made it about twice now. I also tried a triple berry mixture as well.

Absolutely AMAZING and EASY to prepare. Took it for Sunday dinner at Moms house and not a crumb left in the dish. A few important points; it is a full stick of butter melted (Food network recipe error, Ree's website cites a full stick of butter. Also, the recipe calls for a 3 qt dish (9 x 13 but the cobbler was thin. It was delicious but I would have liked it to be a bit thicker. Next time I will use a 2.5 qt dish. Bake time called for an hour, but mine was golden at 40 min. I sprinkled a teaspoon of sugar on it and baked for another 5 min. Loved the blackberries but I'm sure blueberries or fresh peaches would be perfect too! My first Ree recipe and plan on making more!!
