This sure is an easy recipe! I had a couple of cans of peaches so I made a few modifications. I used 4 cups of drained peaches, added a couple of tablespoons of cinnamon, a bit of nutmeg and then placed on top of the batter. I also added a couple of teaspoons of vanilla to the batter. My cobbler turned out pretty much exactly what the photo looks like excepts mine had peaches poking through the top. I baked it a little longer due to the extra peaches. Talk about yummy! Next time I am going to try the blackberries since they are a favorite of ours.

Awesome, simple recipe! I made the batter and used apples instead of blackberries. Delicious! Thank you for sharing!

I would give this more stars if I could. OMG...so easy, so delish. I've already shared the recipe with several of my friends. A little "different" than traditional cobbler, but actually I prefer it this way. You can't go wrong with this one. I'm sure it will be just as good with other berries or fruits.

    Hi Ree,

I made this last night, very easy I accidentally used a whole stick of butter, needless to say it was great. I don't like recipes with biscuit mix, this was great, and definitely a keeper!
