OMG...Thank you Ree, this is delicious. I tried it with blueberries and added 1/4 tsp fioro di sicilia extract for a lite citrus flavor. It was yummy?

So good I made this two days in a row! You can really use any fruit you like and I look forward to trying different varieties but the blackberries in this recipe are fantastic. Best of all, it takes about 5 minutes to put everything together and get it in the oven. Thanks Ree! (FYI: I didn't have self rising flour so I made my own by taking 1 cup of all purpose and added 1 1/4 tsp baking powder + 1/4 tsp salt.

My mom used to make one like this and I have been looking for the recipe. She also used canned peaches which I loved.

I made this tonight to take to my husbands work for a potluck and they said it was the best dessert there! So easy to make and it tastes great! One lady said she had not tasted anything so good since her grandmother made one. I was filled with joy. Thanks so much!

One of the easiest and tastiest recipes I have made! I followed Rees website recipe which calls for 1 stick of butter as oppose to 1/2 stick stated on this website. Yesterday I made it with blueberry which is what I had, soooo good!! Today I made it with the blackberries, still super delish!!! My waist line is in trouble now that I found this recipe : I do add the extra 2 tsp of sugar right before the end but I mix it with cinnamon! Yummy!!!

We loved this recipe, and so easy to make! It calls for self-rising flour, if you have all purpose flour just add 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt to one cup of all purpose flour.
    Love your show Ree!!
