I LOVE this recipe! I have been looking for one like this for a long time! Thank you! I substitute water for the milk, and increase the butter to an additional 2-4T to keep the richness. This helps with my milk allergies!

I made this with blueberries and took it to my weekly girls night. It disappeared very quickly.

This is the easiest dessert I have ever made. It is absolutely delicious. Ree's cookbook calls for 8T of butter and this recipe calls for 4T so I make the recipe with 6T and it comes out perfectly fine. Also substitute I can't beleive it's not butter for a heathier version!

I agree with "benggot"! I'm not good at baking but when I tried this dessert, it was fantastic!
I have made it 3 times and it always turns out good. It does make about 6 servings, thankfully! Served with vanilla ice cream...yummm!

I am no baker...I am one of the worst trying hard baker because I burn, under bake and just can't follow recipes that involves baking. But this recipe is foolproof, easy to follow and most of all taste awesome! I used blackberries, strawberries and fresh peaches and it all tasted good! I made one yesterday but instead of milk, I bought heavy whipped cream and substituted that to milk.....it still came out so yummy and just can't stop eating it!

Super easy, super delicious. It was so good, I made another one using fresh peaches (added a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. You must use a shallow baking dish or it won't get done. 2 qt seems to be the best size. Thank you Ree!!!
