    I enjoyed this very much it made a very sizable pot. I left out the nutmeg because I am not a fan. I would add garlic which I forgot this time. It was very easy

    Great version with just 1 addition - needs a little garlic thrown in with the onions (just 1 clove minced would be perfect

    Best. Ever. I can eat this for days. Still tastes as good after days in the fridge & freezes well. I use extra sharp cheddar from a block and shred with food processor.

    This soup is the best broccoli cheese soup I have ever had. And for being the first time I ever made this kind of soup it was excellent and easy to make. Love the recipes from Pioneer Woman keep them coming

    I thought this soup was delicious! I substitued homemade chicken broth for the whole milk, and I thought that gave the soup some additional flavor.

    Added diced cooked ham in the episode I saw, so I added that & shredded carrot & only used milk & pureed half the soup for texture, didn't need any chicken broth. Very very good. Have tried other varieties & I am enjoying this for my work lunch week.

    It was very good, but in the show she added ham as well. I added 1 ham steak which gave it good flavor, but it was hard to mash up the broccoli with a potato masher afterwards. It did have very good flavor though, and my family loved it.
