Im sorry Bree. This is the first recipe that I made that I did not like. Its bland bland bland. I added extra salt and pepper then I decided to add a can of cream of chicken and some chicken base. That seemed to help.

I have to agree with others. This soup was creamy but definitely lacked some spark. It was just okay.

Followed the directions exactly and it was OK but too thick, bland and had little flavor. It needs something, it's too milky.

Very good soup. I halved the recipe since there is just two of us. I used an immersion blender to make it smooth. The soup was a little too thick and rich for me. Next time I will either swap out the half and half and use all milk and/or add some chicken stock. Will definitely make again!

I've made this twice now, both times with great success. Both times I've added 1 cup of chicken stock to thin it a bit, and didn't bother blending. My only recommendation is to use 1 to 1.5 cups of shredded velveeta as part of your cheese mix as it really gives it a smooth, creamy texture. Also, make sure you avoid using a cheese with a high oil content. Easy and quick.

Outstanding! I used 2% milk vs. whole. I added some chicken stock at the end like suggested, then used my stick blender to blend to a creamy goodness. My kids loved it, I even used kaiser rolls as mini bread bowls.

So good, so easy to make. Followed the recipe to the T first time I made it. Second time I diced 3 red peppers and cooked them with the onions and added the cheeses, I used a Sharp cheddar and a Monteray Jack, after I used the hand blender. Also had some leftover peas and buzzed them in. Really good. Can't wait to subsitute the broccli for asparagus.
