Oh Emmm Geeeee! This is the best. I followed Ree's steps exactly. It was awesome. I could've eaten the tomato mixture all by itself! The bread came out perfectly, not hard like the oven tends to make it. I did add leftover grilled steak for my hubby's. We give this 5 stars. Thanks, Ree.

Loved this! I agree the tomatoes could be chopped smaller, and would make it easier to eat. I was looking for a recipe to use the cherry tomatoes that are overflowing from my garden and this was wonderful. Yummy!!!!!!

OMG!!! This was soo delicious, I have been wanting to make this for soo long. The only thing I changed was cut the baby tomatoes into smaller pieces. And a note to art-tist I maybe wouldn't have the flame so high when you add the garlic , I had mine at a low simmer while cooking the garlic and had no trouble at all with it burning. Will definitely make this over and over again thank you so much Ree Drummond!!!

Made this as an appetizer and ended up eating it as my meal! I have never prepared the bread that way - wonderful! As to the size of the tomatoes - it is an individual preference and overall not a big deal. Appreciated the tip about removing the garlic from the heat - I will try that.

I made this recipe with my Dad. We are an Italian family and LOVE bruschetta. In our opinions when you make the oil with the garlic, TAKE THE PAN OFF THE HEAT ONCE YOU ADD THE GARLIC; and stir. Do not leave it on because you will get a burned taste in your over all product...which is not pleasant. This will make a BIG difference. Also the tomatoes were great but as pshoeski00 said they need to be chopped finer. Like in quarters instead of halves. All together this recipe was o.k. but with the errors/instruction mishaps that were made when my family made it are fixed it can be a very good bruschetta!

I like the way the bread was done, but the topping was a bit to chunky for me I would chop mine finer.
