Love love love this recipe! I have a severe egg allergy and caesar dressing is one of the things I REALLY miss. I'm so happythis does not have eggs! I also cant have mustard or worcestershire sauce due to allergies so I used some homemade vegan mayo and low sodium soy sauce and it was soooo good!

WONDERFUL!! I'm so happy to see a Caesar dressing made without eggs. This was so easy and wonderfully tasty. You can adjust the vinegar to your taste, I used 1 T. of balsamic and it was wonderful! Adjust any ingrediant you want more or less of, but this is an EXCELLENT recipe!!!

Simply delicious!!! I used the anchovy and it tastes amazing. It had a little too much vinager for my taste so I changed it to half the amount.

This recipe is awesome! I use the balsamic alternative, and I follow it to the letter, with the one exception that I double everything to make more than one meal*. It is rich and creamy and sooo good.

*I feel comfortable keeping it a few days due to the lack of raw egg

Best Caesar salad. And the croutons can be eaten alone as snacks. Seriously they are that good.

I was intrigued by the fact it had no eggs. Such a simple recipe! To all who wonder what to do with the leftover anchovy, you can use them in stews, soups and sauces for added depth of flavor. Just chop and add to sautéed veggies prior to adding liquids. The anchovy will disintegrate into the food. I did that when making beef stew. Couldn't tell physically it was there but it was very good. If possible, buy the jarred anchovies vs canned so you can easily put the lid on and store in the fridge! I found jarred in the Italian section where specialty tomatoes, parm cheese, roasted red peppers etc are. Also, if you want Ceasar dressing and do not want to make a grocery trip, you will have extra in the fridge!

Considering I'm not usually a fan of dressings with balsamic or red vinegar, I think this is a great receipe. Next time I might tweak it a bit for my taste and use only 1/2 T of vinegar. The croutons were delicious and what's not to like about romaine and parmesean cheese? (: Glad I tried it, including the anchovies. Like another reviewer though, I do wonder what to do with the remaining anchovies. Next time I might try using the anchovy paste.
