    This is a great recipe!! We did it with both cube steak and thinly sliced chicken. I have trouble eating the tough meats like cube steak but I did taste it and it was fabulous. BUT try this recipe with chicken!! Oh my goodness! I will be making this recipe over and over and over again! Thanks Ree for such great recipes!!

    This is my very favorite Chicken Fried Steak Recipe - my husband absolutely loves it so I've created a Recipe box from foodnetwork online so I can watch and save your recipes. You have those down home earthy type of foods that my family adores. They're perfectly satisfying especially after coming in from the outdoors during the cold winter days in Alaska.

    Very good, and my family loved it. Had a little trouble with sticking and the breading coming off the steak, and definitely cooked longer than 2 minutes per side. Next time I will use a non-stick skillet, and don't expect to have that problem. Should have cut the flour and egg mixture in half as other viewers recommended, I hate waste!

    Really good, really simple, and would really do it again!!! My family all loved it. Next time, I will season the meat itself with seasoned salt and then follow the rest of the recipe. Also, I followed the reviewer's advice and cut the flour and egg mixtures in half, it was just the right amounts!! Thanks Ree and fellow reviewers!!!

    I'm not sure where I went wrong but this didn't taste good and was so difficult to cut. I probably should have tenderized it more with my meat mallet.

    super yummy, would make again! next time i would cut the milk/egg & dry spice mix in half so i didn't have to waste it, i had to throw the rest away after i dipped the steak. made w/ ribeye steak paired w/ PW's creamy mashed potatoes recipe and my own chopped salad! what a meal!
