This was a huge hit with my family. We watched The Pioneer Woman's first show and my son turned to me and announced that we "had" to make this for dinner that night, which I did. I ommitted the egg since my son is allergice but still came out great. Cube steak can be chewy or tough and it wasn't at all. It was so buttery and delicious. A real comfort meal. I had to make it again a couple of nights later for my in-laws. Again, a hit! I have been a follower of Ree's blog and am so happy she has a FN show of her own.

Both of my children cleaned their plates! They loved the mashed potatoes and the meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. I am excited to try more of Ree's recipes.

We had this and truly used gravy from Chicken Soup thickened a bit. Has a "meaty" taste and very Tender. The "secrets" really do help.A quick review is helpfull prior to placing All ingredients together.Seldom consume Beef. However, this could be used in many Protein Recipes without any loss of Flavours because of technique{s}.
