Just made this for dinner tonight and though it was a little bland. I added more cheese and seasonings plus a can of diced tomatoes and some fresh corn I had in the frig. I also used a very flavorful rotisserie chicken from our local market instead of boiling one in unseasoned water...(can't say that sounds to appetizing and used chicken stock for moisture. Sorry Ree but I will say I have made a lot of your recepies and they are fabulous but this one was just okay.

I saw this on the food network on Saturday and made it on Sunday. The best part was that it tasted even better on Monday!! I did have to make a few quick adjustments. I cheated and bought a rotisserie chicken from the corner market and shredded that. I also didnt realize before it was too late that all I had in the pantry was one can of cream of mushroom and one can of cream of asparagus soup. I also had some left over mac and cheese and tossed it into the casserole as well. Regardless of the changes I made, it was AWESOME!!! :-

After seeing this on the show on Saturday my daughter begged me to make it. It was awesome!!!! Made a few changes - I only had Roasted Garlic Cream of Mushroom Soup, and I didn't have any cheese, so that got left out. There is only 3 of us, so I froze half for another day. The family LOVED it.

This was a great dish. I think next time I would saute' the veggies a bit before putting them in the oven and I'd have less onion. Overall, very tasty!

The casserole was perfect. It was creamy and not clumpy or dry. we loved it. Even my picky other half. Thanks, Ree.

I've made this recipe a few times. It's a great all-around casserole. I've also taken it to a friend after a funeral and frozen it in portions for my mother, who is a senior and appreciates not having to cook. If I don't have time to cook the chicken, a rotisserie chicken and boxed chicken stock works well.

I made this casserole yesterday after having watched the show on Sat. I cooked the chicken in the morning before I went to church and then Ice bathed it and put it in the fridge so it was ready to pick when I got home. Used cream of celery as my wife is allergic to mushrooms and added 2qty plum tomatoes that I cubed instead of pimento's and of course bacon since I don't know how to not add bacon Flavor was good and creamy will definitely be making this one again!!!

I made this casserole months ago from her cookbook before I ever saw it on the show. I took it to church to feed a group of people at a lunch time meeting and everyone loved it. I had a pan left over and froze it. Pulled it out last weekend and let it thaw, cooked it according to the original recipe...still delicious. Great fresh or frozen. My husband looks forward to me making this again. I love Ree Drummond! I had the privilege of meeting her at a book signing back in the spring and she is as genuine and full of personality as you would expect her to be.
