This is my new pie for 2013, its good & rich plus I loves peanut butter, the oreo crust sets it off to a great combination. I didnt have creamy peanut butter so I use crunchy peanut butter which i think made it better than than if it was creamy. Thanks for a great recipe.

We had company over for dinner on Saturday & they brought this dessert to share....I thought it was delicious & much better than the recipe I had for peanut butter pie...loved the oreo crust...definitely needed a big glass of milk to wash it down though!

I have to say I have never made any kind of pie before in my life. I saw this episode a couple of days before Thanksgiving and I needed one more pie to make, and this was it. Oh wow it was so good and really easy to make. This will be a pie i will make a lot of, and it will be on my Thanksgiving menu as well as my Christmas menu. Thanks for the great idea, and thank you for sharing your son's favorite dishes with us!!

My daughter and I really enjoyed this pie. It was absolutely delicious, and very easy to make. However, it is very rich, and even though I cut small pieces, alot of my guests left most of their pies on their plate :( I asked a friend what she thought, and she said it was too rich and too sweet - almost gave her a toothache! My daughter and I both have a sweet tooth, perhaps that is why we enjoyed it so much. Great recipe, but definitely beware as it may be too sweet and rich for some people.

I'm torn! My husband and son thought it was too rich and thick. I loved the taste but agree on the richness. I love Ree's recipes and I'm not giving up on this one! I will make again but next time I will use a quarter sheet cake pan and smooth out the filling so it's a thinner layer. Also will use a little less peanut butter.

I was really surprised to see everybody thought so highly of this pie, it is definitely easy....it's very heavy and not really worth the calories to me. It is a one note flavor with no depth at all, just a lot of peanut butter...the peanut butter even overpowers the DELICIOUS oreo cookie crust - btw, I'm going to make a cheesecake using the oreo crust - it is too good to not get noticed!
