These cinnamon rolls became our new Christmas morning tradition. We love them! We froze the leftovers and they reheated perfectly. I would suggest letting them raise before freezing to save time. Great recipe!

This was the first time I made homemade cinnamon rolls - ever. They are extremely delicious and because of Ree's step-by-step directions, they were easy to make even though they take a little time. I will make again and again.

I have used the same cinnamon roll recipe for years and we love it...then I tried this one! After loving all of Ree's other recipes I decided to give this a go and am glad I did.

Yumma! It rolled so much better than my other recipes. The other ones are more elastic- bouncing back after rolling it across. This recipe, no matter how thin I rolled it stayed put. YAY! I am thankful for the person who posted that the rolls would look thin at first. They did, but then they blossomed when getting them out of the oven. I also had to adjust the cooking time. I haven't made the frosting- made my own buttercream vanilla because I didn't have maple extract and as much as I love coffee, I didn't have any- but I am looking forward to trying it with the other half of the dough!
    Thanks Ree!

AMAZING!!! When I rolled and cut the rolls prior to cooking, I was worried I had done something wrong. They were so small!!! It was like magic once they hit the oven! My family (especially my husband loved them!

Oh my goodness gracious, these cinnamon rolls are awesome!!!!!!!! They are more than awesome, they are amazing. For years I've been trying to find a good cinnamon roll recipe and finally, this is the one. I just love it, love it. I made only half a batch to try the recipe and they came out gorgeous. Everyone in my family loved them. For me, it was the best present. I even saved one for the next day and tasted even better. Thanks Ree for this great recipe.

I have tried way to many recipes for cinnamon rolls and this by far tops the whole kit and kabod. I have RA and these are the simplest ones I have found. I did use soften butter and cut the sugar a bit. I found another use for you caramel sauce, just pour it over the cinnamon rolls before you bake them and another awesome treat. Thank you Ree for your down home cooking. I especially like the whole milk, cream, and real butter. A big hit at our house!!

The cinnamon rolls were not up to par for me--I think they were easy to make, only too sweet and too much butter! I made a half batch, and didn't put any melted butter-only cinnamon and less sugar on them and the came out great! Will tweek a little more in the future... Not all the sugar in the frosting to drench them either. I lightened them up.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!! My first time ever making homemade cinnamon rolls and they did not fail me. Everyone loved them. Maple icing is very sweet so I went a little lighter on this. Cooked the rolls slightly longer 17-20 minutes so they were a little more done. Just an FYI...the recipe on the website says to cut them 1/2" thick but I received the Cookbook for my birthday and in the cookbook it says to cut them 1-1/2" thick which correct and perfect. Place cinnamon rolls touching each other and they come out picture perfect! Enjoy - we sure did and everyone else loved them.
