These are so dangerously good. The maple glaze may sound a little strange, but it is sooo good. I make some variation of her sweet rolls about once a month, and like to make 'seasonal' rolls. I like the cinnamon ones in the fall. Once you get the hang of them, it was new to me, they are a cinch to make and actually a lot of fun. In addition to these, I have made the chocolate chip ones, the orange marmalade (which are divine. Be creative and create your own combo. I made lemon and rosemary that were out of this world.

Hands down the BEST cinnamon rolls we have ever made or eaten and easier to make than my old stand by recipe. Make them, share them, CRAVE THEM.

These rolls were delicious! I added chopped pecans to the bottom of the pan with the butter. This recipe makes A LOT of rolls so I froze half of the dough to make a few days later. I couldn't keep these rolls on the table, great recipe.

These were AH-mazing!!! They were a little on the sweeter side, but my family loved them!!! I really loved how I can make them in the morning and not have to fool around with anything at night!

This recipe is more like a coffe cake than yeast rolls. The dough is oily, the filling is too greasy, the dough took about 11 cups of flour and it baked a lot longer than 17 min. I bake all of my own bread and wanted to try a new recipe. This is not a yeast bread roll. It is more like a quick bread. N

I made a couple of modifications....
- Filling: I used 1 cup of light brown sugar & 1 cup granulated sugar, along with the butter, cinnamon & salt as directed. I softened the butter & mixed everyting all together (to make a thick paste so that it would spread easier. Also, next time, I might add about 3/4 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts.... Yum :
- Icing: I didn't have maple extract, so I used 2 tbsp of maple syrup... probably not as potent a maple flavor, but still really good.
- Garnish: I sprinkled chopped, roasted walnuts over the icing!
- To Cut: Instead of a sharp knife, I just used some thread! Quick, precise cuts & toss it when you're done!
I will be freezing some of these to make later!
