very savory sauce... did take a bit to prep and then to brown the batches of meatballs. Delicious flavor though!

Moist, well seasoned and easy to make. The sauce is delicious! I will use it the next time I make oven bbq chicken.

I made these for a weeknight dinner and they turned out wonderful. My family loved them. They are very filling and go well with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. I'll definitely make these again. This recipe is simple and such a nice change from the recipes with breadcrumbs.

Ok ladies I have another way to prepare this recipe. Make the meatballs as suggested by Ree, but for the sauce, use tomato sauce in lieu of ketchup - 8 oz or 16 oz. depending on how much sauce you would like and instead of the plain sugar use brown sugar, add the rest of the ingredients Ree has listed for the sauce. Cook
the sauce on top of the stove, add the meatballs from the oven to the sauce. This is the way I normally prepare Sweet and Sour Meatballs and my family really prefers the tomato sauce instead of the ketchup. Try it and see what you think.

Great Recipe. Loved the sauce. Next time I will use less milk just a little to soft for our liking but I will make these again!

Another great recipe from Ree! I had never made meatballs before, but this looked so good and easy, I had to give it a try. My family loved them. The meatballs turned out moist and tender. The sauce was yummy. I replaced the minced onion with onion powder and bread for the oats. I don't care for oats in meatloaf, so didn't think I'd like it here. I just took 2 slices of regular white bread and soaked them in the cup of milk for a minute or two. They turned our great! My family has asked for these meatballs again. Guess what's for supper tonight : Adding this recipe to my collection.
