Nice do-ahead and great flavor for appetizer meatballs - don't eliminate the hot sauce or cayenne - it is essential. Sauce is great consistency, coating the meatballs just right. I will cut back on the cooking time a bit next time. Interior meatball temperature was 180 after 45 minutes and a bit on the dry side. Check after 30 minutes, especially if you have the meatballs at room temperature.

WOW These are the best meatballs I have ever tasted!! My family loves them, I added a little mozzarella cheese on top and melted. AWESOME must try.

im not a meatball fan at all ,but i absolutely love these!!! and make them prob almost once a week! and i live 20 min from the pioneer woman herself :never met her tho!

These meatballs became a family favorite when I made them from your cookbook awhile back. I have THE PICKIEST children on the planet and usually at least one of them complain about what we are eating. These meatballs satisfy everyone in the house including my husband. They are moist, flavorful and delicious. I made these for Sunday supper about qa week ago... My 4 year old ate 9...yes nine meatballs. LOVE this recipe a definite must try!
