Made these for my husband on the spur of the moment with what we had on hand and with some modifications: regular bread, unbuttered, from the toaster; Jimmy Dean microwave turkey sausage patties; scrambled eggs; Kraft American cheese singles. Even with these changes, he loved them! Great idea for a quick breakfast!

I made them this morning - even wrapped them in foil and took a couple up to the hubby (he had morning traffic duty for a very large church here. I was disappointed. I like my toast 'crunchy' and it seemed that they steamed up. I guess I'll have to make them and eat them at home. BTW: I don't understand how some "reviewers" are giving rating when they haven't even bothered to attempt a recipe?
