My husband licked his lips while we were watching Ree prepare this dish! Ree - your show is SO positive and happy that both my husband and I enjoy watching you to start our morning each day. I've printed out several of your recipes and about to try them. You cook like I do - nice and simple and fun - things I know I can make - and we will surely enjoy. Thank you SO much! Annie and Mack

These are wonderful. Very creamy, cheesy and delicious. I halved the recipe and it was plenty. I think it will freeze well too. I did add a little salt and pepper. Definitely worth the time to cook them. Love most all Ree's recipes. Her show is so good my husband likes to watch it too. Love all the family taking part.

Wow! Well Ree, you got me hooked. Growing up and residing in the midwest, grits were not part of our meals. I can tell you, they are now. I served them with your delicious beef stew with root vegetables and the flavors and texture combination is fabulous. Thanks!!

Okay, so I cheated and used quick cook grits at the risk of being shunned by my Southern friends; but it was all I had! So I made with less broth/liquid than called for, and then mixed in some cream, cheddar cheese and the sauteed onions and peppers at the end. It was really, really delicious. Served with the beef stew with root vegetables, it was heavenly!

These grits are extra special because of the peppers! Also, the beefstew recipe that was on the episode with these grits, called, "special delivery", can only be found on foodnetwork under " beef stew with root vegetables". All the others are Lee's variations, but not the exact one. Again, great grits!

These grits are out of this world! I just added a little bit of salt and it really brought out the flavors. This in combination with the Beef Stew with Root Vegetables is amazing! Definitely have to invest some time, but more than well worth it!!
